Am I eligible for this scholarship?
​Beginning in 2026, the Ashley Schlag Memorial Scholarship the only eligible applicants are girls, active in team sports who reside in the rural municipality of Springfield, Manitoba.

How do I apply?
Directions are included on the Application Information page. Your application form also directs you on where to submit and contains a checklist. If you are unclear after reviewing the webpage and the forms, email ashleyscholarship@hotmail.com.
Who can I ask for a letter of reference?
You need three (3) adults to write a letter of reference for you. One should be a teacher, one a coach, and the other a non-related adult. This third person can be another teacher or coach, or an employer for example. You can ask them to access the form from this website or download and email it to them. It is preferred that all reference forms are completed by your reference on a computer and emailed directly to ashleyscholarship@hotmail.com
When will I find out who has been awarded the scholarship?
​Because identities of the applicants are not revealed to the members of the selection committee, only the successful applicant(s) will be notified. The SCI Memorial Award will be awarded at the SCI graduation ceremonies at the end of June.
