Congratulations Marcena!

Marcena has dedicated over 12 years to the sport of ringette, playing six of those years at the AA level. Her commitment and talent have led to remarkable accomplishments, including two provincial championships and representing Manitoba at the 2025 Canadian Ringette Championships. She was also selected for elite national development opportunities, including the U17 La Relève and U18 Team Canada camps.
 

Off the ice, Marcena balances her demanding athletic schedule with exceptional academic achievement, maintaining a 95%+ average while completing advanced science and math courses. She also gives back as a coach and mentor to younger athletes, fostering confidence and teamwork in the next generation of players.
 

We are proud to recognize Marcena’s achievements, leadership, and outstanding character with this award. We wish you continued success as you pursue your studies at the University of Manitoba!
