First we want to thank all of the applicants who applied. The applicants have consistently been exceptional young women and it is challenging to pick one winner each year. We wish we could award each one.
Thank-you to all our generous supporters! Our corportate sponsors and special supports, those who have volunteers, participated in, or donated to the Moves Like Schlager tournaments. We are grateful to all our supporters who enable us to continue to award the Ashley Schlag Memorial Scholarship soccer award each year. This holds a very special meaning for us.
Congratulations Holly!
Holly has been a member of the Manitoba Regional Excel Center (REX) program since 2019. She is tough and talented goal keeper who consistently demonstrates herself as being an exemplarily team player. Holly has also demonstrated a combination of grit and good judgement when dealing with injuries; both brave and sensible.
Through an eagerness to learn and diligence with training to develop her talents, Holly has demonstrated growth as a player. She pursues excellence and is willing to make personal sacrifices to achieve her goals. These qualities have earned her a spot on the Bisons Women's Soccer team at the University of Manitoba.
