About the Scholarship
The Ashley Schlag Memorial Scholarship consists of two distinct awards. One award is designated for a girl who is or has been involved in provincial-level competition with the Manitoba Soccer Association and the other is designated for a girl, active in team sports who will be graduating from Springfield Collegiate Institute in Oakbank, Manitoba.

Award recipients will be chosen based on a set criteria focusing on the applicant’s character, involvement in sport, and financial need. A full description of the criteria for each award can be found on the Rules and Regulations pages for the respective awards. (See links in "Who can apply" section below).

The selection process will consist of a blind review of the applications so members of the selection committee will not be aware of the applicants’ identities until after the selections are made. For a full description of this process, please refer to the document, Process for Blind Review.

Please ensure you are referring to and completing the correct documents for the award you are applying for. The header of the documents and the titles of each include the designation MSA or SCI Graduate to help you. If the document includes both references, the contents are relevant to both awards.
