First we want to thank all of the applicants who applied. The applicants have consistently been exceptional young women and it is challenging to pick one winner each year. We wish we could award each one.
Thank-you to all our generous supporters! Our corportate sponsors and special supports, those who have volunteers, participated in, or donated to the Moves Like Schlager tournaments. We are grateful to all our supporters who enable us to continue to award the Ashley Schlag Memorial Scholarship soccer award each year. This holds a very special meaning for us.
Congratulations Abbey!
Abbey has been involved in many sports including hockey, volleyball, track, badminton, and soccer! Her dedication to her various teams and her ability to not lose a focus on fun makes her a well-liked and valued teammate no matter the sport. Most of all, Abbey values the lasting bonds and special friendships that have come from participating in sport over the years.

Abbey, has had to work hard for her success. Those around her have commended her on her determination and positive attitude. Even when struggling with a challenge, her sense of humor is not lost. She also has the valuable trait of being "very coachable" and always shows the desire to improve.

We are honoured to recognize your hard work and strength of character with this award. Your focus on fun and valuing your relationships with others also embodies Ashley's spirit that we celebrate with this scholarship.
