Congratulations Anna!
Anna has been involved in high-level soccer for several years. She has been a goalkeeper for Northwest Football Club’s Premier team for multiple seasons and took part in the MSA Provincial Championships. Her success led to representing the Province at club Nationals in BC. Anna has also played with the Manitoba Provincial and travel teams and is part of the National/CSA REX training program. She has worked tirelessly to gain a better understanding of the game and is the type of player who inspires her teammates.
An active student volunteer, she worked with with Winnipeg Harvest as part of Student Council and has volunteered with Phoenix Soccer Club. This is in addition to holding two part time jobs! Despite all this time spent on soccer, volunteering, and work, Anna has also maintained honour roll status in her studies!
Working hard for her successes, Anna remains humble and reliable, quietly leading by example, demonstrating her character on and off the pitch.
We were honoured to have been able to meet you at the tournament and have every confidence you will represent Ashley's spirit of sport and giving well as you pursue your studies in Nursing. Thank-you for being such a worthy recipient of this scholarship!
